This week's verse: John 13:34 “... Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.”

Questions you can use to discuss the lesson with your child:

1. Jesus washed His disciples’ feet to show love to them—but there are other ways to show Jesus’ love. How can you show love to others?

2. Mud made the disciples’ feet icky and sticky. What things make our hearts icky and sticky? Sin, wrong choices, mean or rude actions, etc.

3. How can you clean the sin and wrong choices out of your heart? You can’t! You’ve got to ask Jesus’ forgiveness and choose to follow Jesus as your leader and number-one friend.

4. What is a sin or wrong choice you need Jesus to wash from your heart?
